An eclipse, a celestial phenomenon that has captivated astronomers and sky gazers for centuries, occurs when one celestial object passes into the shadow of another celestial body or vice versa. This alignment is usually between two massive bodies like planets, moons, or stars. The most commonly observed eclipses are solar and lunar eclipses.
Types of Eclipses
There are three main types of eclipses: Solar, Lunar, and Planetary.

Solar Eclipse : https://casinoeclipse.ca/ A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun, blocking part or all of the Sun’s light. This can only happen during a new moon phase. There are several subtypes:
- Total Solar Eclipse (TSE): The entire disk of the Sun is blocked out by the Moon.
- Annular Solar Eclipse: An annulus forms when the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun, creating a ring-like effect around it.
- Partial Solar Eclipse: Only part of the Sun’s light is blocked.

Lunar Eclipse : A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon. This can only happen during full moon phase. Similar to solar eclipses, there are subtypes:
- Total Lunar Eclipse (TLE): The entire disk of the Moon turns a reddish hue because it is reflecting light that has traveled through more of the Earth’s atmosphere.
- Partial Lunar Eclipse: Only part of the Moon’s illuminated surface goes into shadow.
